Viktor Freiman

Viktor FreimanViktor Freiman, full professor at the Faculty of Educational Sciences, Université de Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada, Ph. D. in computer science teaching. His research is focused on innovations in mathematics education, use of digital technology, problem solving, giftedness and creativity, from inter- and trans-disciplinary perspective. Since 2003 he has been running several online projects on mathematical problem solving. He has several articles and book chapters published on this topic. His recent partnership development project, funded by the Canadian Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council, looks into the development of digital competencies as a lifelong continuum. He is a co-editor for the book Series Mathematics Education in the Digital Era by Springer, since 2014.
