Vicki Donne

Vicki Donne is a professor in the Education department at Robert Morris University, over the past 15 years, she has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in special education and doctoral level courses in diversity and research methodology. Her previous experience includes 15 years as a special educator working in K-12 low SES schools to provide direct instruction, remediation, community integration, consultation, and collaboration. Dr. Donne's research involves reading instruction for students who are deaf/hard of hearing, instruction for students with multiple disabilities, and assistive technology use. In addition, she has served as an evaluator and principal investigator on several grants. Dr. Donne consults with a team on the statewide alternative assessment specifically in the area of test validity and fidelity for the sub-group of students who are deaf/hard of hearing with concomitant disabilities.
