Turgay Öntaş

Turgay Öntaş completed his undergraduate education in the Department of Social Studies Education at the Faculty of Education, Sivas Cumhuriyet University in 2007. He obtained his master's degree in March 2010 at the Institute of Social Sciences, Hacettepe University, and his doctoral degree in November 2014 in the field of Classroom Education at the Institute of Educational Sciences, Gazi University. Between 2008-2010, he worked at the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, at the Maya Private Schools between 2010-2015, and at Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University between 2015-2020. In 2020, he transferred to Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University. He served as the Minister's Advisor at the Ministry of National Education from 2018 to 2021. ÖNTAŞ, who received the title of Associate Professor in January 2021, is currently working as a faculty member at Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University. His fields of study include social studies education and teacher training.
