Tsegaye D. Lemma

Tsegaye Demsis Lemma is a current PhD candidate in Remote Sensing, Department of Remote Sensing Research and Development, Entoto Observatory and Research Center, Ethiopian Space Science and Technology Institute (ESSTI) affiliated with Addis Ababa University. Formerly serve as an Associate Researcher and satellite control engineer in Satellite Research, Development and Operation Directorate, ESSTI. He is an extremely motivated and sociable person, who has a passion for aerospace and remote sensing. his current work deals with the use of Earth Observation for drought and flood forecasting in Awash basin, Ethiopia. Mr. Tsegaye has a good personal skill in social, individual and team works. Participating in different satellite driven products for disaster risk reduction, urban climate, agriculture and drought.... Respect others culture, self-esteemed. He is a hard worker struggling challenges by new idea, and showing good performance in a given task, as well as he has a very good academic achievements so far. he has a plan to extend his research work (new sensor development and calibration, Big data, data assimilation, and integration(optical and SAR) and image fusion for vegetation mapping, urban climate monitoring, change detection and disaster risk reduction and food security)
