Tsediso Michael Makoelle

Tsediso Michael Makoelle is part of Nazarbayev University’s executive management in the capacity of Vice Dean for Research at Graduate School of Education, the School which is in partnership with the University of Cambridge (UK) and University of Pennsylvania (USA). He is one of the recipients of the prestigious Nelson Mandela Scholarship to UK. He holds a PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) in educational psychology with a specialization in inclusive education from the University of Manchester, UK and a D Ed (Doctor of Education) in Education Management and leadership from University of South Africa. He has occupied teaching and leadership positions in secondary and tertiary education in South Africa and overseas. He had and still supervising both Master and PhD students. He is a member several research bodies in South Africa and internationally. He is a reviewer of grants applications for the South African National Research Foundation (NRF), reviewed papers for several international journals and evaluated research theses for several universities in South Africa and overseas. He has also reviewed post graduate courses and programmes for many universities and serves on editorial boards of several international Journals. He has been an associate professor at Nazarbayev University in Astana, Kazakhstan since 2015.
