Thanuja Rathakrishnan

Thanuja Rathakrishnan is a Lecturer at Taylor’s Business School, Taylor’s University, Malaysia. She earned her PhD in Business Economics at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). Prior to this, she obtained a Master of Business Administration from Putra Business School, UPM, Malaysia and was conferred a bachelor’s degree in Communication and Management by Upper IOWA University, USA. She has worked on entrepreneurism, family businesses and SMEs and tourism projects thereby expanding her interest in entrepreneurial tourism management. Thanuja also partakes in consultancy projects with government and nongovernment organisations. Her areas of interest are including, but not limited to entrepreneurship, small businesses, family businesses, and tourism. In addition to her academic role, Thanuja is also an Editorial Review Board Member of the Journal of Responsible Tourism Management and a Local Virtual Volunteer for AIESEC.
