Thanuja Rathakrishnan

Thanuja Rathakrishnan is currently employed as a Lecturer at Taylor's University in Malaysia. She successfully completed her doctoral studies in Business Economics at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). Prior to her PhD, she pursued a Master of Business Administration degree from Putra Business School, UPM, Malaysia. She also holds a bachelor's degree in Communication and Management from Upper IOWA University, USA. Throughout her career, Dr. Thanuja has focused on various areas such as entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship education, family businesses, SMEs, and tourism projects, which has expanded her interest in entrepreneurial tourism management. She has also been actively involved in consultancy projects with both government and non-government organizations. Apart from her academic commitments, Dr. Thanuja contributes to the scholarly community in other capacities as well. She serves as an esteemed member of the Editorial Review Board for the Journal of Responsible Tourism Management. Additionally, she volunteers as a Local Virtual Volunteer for AIESEC, an international non-profit organization that offers leadership development and cross-cultural exchange opportunities to young people.
