Thamsanqa Buys

Thamsanqa Buys holds a master’s degree in Public Management from the University of Pretoria. As a doctoral candidate in Public Affairs with the Tshwane University of Technology where he is currently employed as a lecturer, he is an emerging scholar having contributed to several articles and book chapters nearing publication. Buys is a member of the South African Association of Public Administration and Management and has presented at national conferences including at the South African Local Government Association’s Professionalization Indaba. He shares an interest in public policy, local government, higher education and governance.
