Sylvia Herold Olney

Sylvia Olney holds a PhD in medical anthropology, a master’s degree in psychotherapy, and is certified in wellness and spiritual healing. She worked as an adjunct professor for eighteen years and has been practicing psychotherapy for almost thirty years, currently in Colorado. She is the author of The medicalization of psychotherapy: Practicing under the influence (2015). Her interests include fitness, spirituality, the natural world, and music.
