Sutapa Ray

Sutapa Ray is Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Philosophy of Prabhu Jagatbandhu College, Andul, Howrah. She is also the Coordinator of IGNOU Study Centre of the college and Course Director and Mentor of National Health Care Academy, Singapore. She is actively involved in research work and has undertaken three Research projects funded by the most prestigious research organisation of the country, University Grants Commission. She has authored a book entitled “A Relatively Real World: Putnam versus Rorty “ which addresses epistemological and metaphysical issues. She has also co-authored a book entitled “Yoga: The Art of Living” which shows how practice of yoga and meditation can cure lifestyle diseases like diebetes. She has also edited a book entitled “ Combating Covid: Philosophical Reflections”. She has co-edited various books like “Paralytic Pandemic: An Emergence of a Human Crisis “, “Marxian Theory: Assessment and Relevance in the Post Reform Era “, “Contemporary Issues and Challenges to the Society “ and “The Pursuit of Thoughts “ . Further, she has innumerable publications on various topics of Philosophy, Economics, Sociology, Religion, etc.
