Surajit Bag

Dr Surajit Bag has completed his PhD in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from College of Management and Economic Studies, University of Petroleum & Energy Studies, Dehradun. He has attended Management Development Program in Multivariate data analysis from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. He has also attended Management Development Program in Research Methodology from Banaras Hindu University. He has trained in Case Study Teaching from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. He has also trained in Total Qual¬ity Management from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. Presently he is working in the position of Head of Procurement with Tega Industries South Africa Pty Ltd, South Africa. He is having more than eight years of industry experience. His areas of research interest are Buyer-Supplier Relationship, Sustainable Supply Chain Management, Supply Chain Risk Management, Humanitarian logistics strategy and Business excellence. He has attended several National and International conferences and has published more than 50 papers in reputed journals. He is the recipient of AIMS-IRMA Young Management Researcher Award 2016 for his significant contribution towards management research. He is an editorial board member of International Journal of Applied Logistics, IRJ Science and Amity Journal of Operations Management. He is a regular reviewer of several prestigious journals such as ANOR, JHLSCM, VISION, IJIS, IJAL and IJPM. He is a life member of professional bodies such as Indian Rubber Institute (IRI), Operational Research Society of India (ORSI), Society of Operations Management (SOM), AIMS International and Asian Council of Logistics Management (ACLM).
