Sujata Bhan

Sujata Bhan is a Professor and Head Department of special Education, training students in special and inclusive education for over three decades in graduate and Master Programmes at SNDT Women’s University, Mumbai, India. She received her Doctoral Degree in Special Education from SNDT Women’s University and Master’s Degree in Psychology from Punjab University. She has developed a standardized Functional Skill Inventory for the Blind (FSIB) as a part of her Ph.D. research. She has authored and edited several books and book chapters and published papers in reputed journals. She has developed course material for special education and inclusive education courses at graduate and post graduate level for various open Universities. Prof. Bhan has worked on National and International research projects. She is involved in many national bodies and contributes to policy making in the field of Special Education. She has received scholarship for her doctoral work in Mauritius. She is recipient of international fellowship to Sweden under CIF Exchange Programme.
