Stephanie Bowlin

Stephanie Bowlin is the Founding Chief of Office of Mission Integration at Western University of Health Sciences (WesternU) and is an Associate Professor of Physician Assistant Education. She graduated from the University of La Verne in 1998 with an EdD in Organizational Leadership and earned a Physician Assistant Certificate from Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science in 1984 and specializes in pediatrics. She joined the PA Faculty in 1990 at WesternU and served as the Dean of the College of Health Sciences from 1998 to 2019. The college houses a Master’s in Science in Health Sciences, Master’s in PA Studies and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. In her current role as Founding Chief of Mission Integration, Dr. Bowlin is responsible for building a culture of cross-departmental integration at the University, ensuring collaborations and unified strategic planning among educational, service and research enterprises. She leads educational departments and services that include Interprofessional Education, faculty development, community engagement, and leadership assessment, and development.
