Stacey Forsyth

Stacey Forsyth is the director of CU Science Discovery, a K-12 STEM education outreach organization at the University of Colorado Boulder, and Co-PI of the NSF ITEST-funded Build a Better Book project. In her role, she oversees informal STEM education programs for K-12 students and teachers, including summer and after-school STEM classes, in-school programs, teacher professional development workshops and community outreach programs. She is passionate about inspiring and supporting curious kids to ask questions and find creative solutions for real-world problems and diversifying the future STEM workforce by expanding opportunities for youth to explore a variety of STEM fields and careers. She holds a B.S. in Ecology, Behavior & Evolution from the University of California, San Diego, and a Ph.D. in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology from the University of Arizona.
