Soraia Garcês

Soraia Garcês holds a BSc in Psychology (2009), MSc in Educational Psychology (2011), and a PhD in Psychology with specialization in Educational Psychological (2013) from University of Madeira. She is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at University of Madeira and an integrated member at the Research Centre for Tourism, Sustainability and Well-being (CinTurs) of the University of Algarve and a collaborator at OSEAN - Outermost Regions Sustainable Ecosystem for Entrepreneurship and Innovation Research Group from University of Madeira. Currently, her research interests fall in positive tourism and wellbeing, cultural and creative tourism, tourism and residents’ wellbeing, education, creativity and psychological assessment.
