Smitha Amarail Mohanan

Smitha Amarail Mohanan is a full-time research scholar at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bangalore, India. She specialized in Sustainable Tourism Development and Sustainable Development Glos area and is doing PhD in the area of Sustainable Tourism development and Women Empowerment. She has received Indian copyright ownership for her work titled ‘Bamboo the “Green Gold”: A Strategic Resilient to Control Climate Change Issues Catalyst to attain Sustainable Development Goals. She has been invited by Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) as a key speaker in the webinars-Focused Youth Studies on the topic “Bamboo the “Green Gold”: A Strategic Resilient to Control Pollution and Community Development in the tourism sector.” She has participated in four international conferences and presented papers. Smitha’s vision is to help rural women who live in vulnerable situations through tourism by seeking the possibilities and opportunities in the field that would enable them to have a good quality of life.
