Siri Mohammad-Roe

Siri Mohammad-Roe is assistant professor in English at Oslo Metropolitan University. Her main fields of interest are the use of literature in the ESL classroom, literature and emotional literacy, and language learning and identity. She has written textbooks for lower secondary school (Connect 8-10 and English 8-10, Cappelen Damm) and created teaching materials in ESL for both lower secondary and upper secondary school. She has worked as a peer reviewer for NJCIE (Nordic Journal of Coparative and International Education), and has worked as a consultant for several publications for the Norwegian academic publisher Fagbokforlaget. She has also worked as a translator of both fiction and for literary magazines. In addition she has a decade of experience from working as an English teacher in the lower secondary classroom.
