Shuchi Nagar

Shuchi Nagar received her Doctorate degree in 2011 from Department of Chemical Technology, University of Calcutta. After completing her PhD degree, she joined Dr. D. Y. Patil Biotechnology and Bioinformatics Institute. Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune in 2011 as Assistant Professor and promoted to Associate Professor in 2020. With 16+ years of research experience in Drug Design and QSAR; 18+ publications, 12+ years of teaching experience, trained with cross-disciplinary education. Dr. Shuchi craves to learn new techniques/technologies that could have a much wider application thus leading to enhancement of knowledge not only for herself but also for the young generation. Her research interest is involved in exploring and understanding various tools available to enhance in silico research in various fields like medicine & environment. She has a keen interest in developing models that would lead to personalized medicine using data science and artificial intelligence.
