Shine Devarajan

Shine Devarajan is currently an Assistant Professor at the School of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics at D. Y Patil Deemed to be University, Navi Mumbai, India since 2006 with 16 years of experience in teaching and research. He received his Ph.D degree in Bioinformatics from Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, Coimbatore, India in 2016. His research interests focus on Molecular Dynamics and computer Simulation of heterogenous molecules, Nano Bioinformatics, Chemical data mining from plant-derived compounds, Nutrigenomics etc., and has also been recognized as a Ph.D guide in the University since July 2021. Dr. Shine has authored or co-authored over 10 peer-reviewed publications in Bioinformatics. He has guided more than 20 students from UG and PG levels in completing their final year dissertation and his current research is directed to drug repurposing of compounds in cancer.
