Shila Mishra

Shila Mishra is a well-traveled and published author with a Ph.D. in Economics from RUDN University in Moscow, Russia. Before moving back to Nepal in 2021, she also taught economics and business management to graduate and undergraduate students at her alma mater. Dr. Mishra published work has been primarily focused on international economics and management. She has also collaborated with researchers from multiple reputed universities in economic powerhouses such as the USA and Russia. Dr. Mishra completed her doctoral thesis on the impact of foreign direct investment on the economic growth of Nepal. After coming back to her home country, she worked at National Planning Commission for about two years as a Research Associate and help improve the regional and national economic situation in Nepal.
