Shaquetta T. Barden

Shaquetta Barden received her BS in Social Work from Michigan State University in 2015. In 2015 she was hired as the Student Service Coordinator at a K12 charter school in Pontiac MI. In 2017 she received her MS in Educational Leadership from Wayne State University. She was promoted to Dean of Students and Assistant Administrator. She received her Doctorate degree in 2023 from Wayne State University and currently serves as the school's Mental Health Coordinator and Mentor to the student body. She has special interest in issues surrounding sexual abuse, traumatic experiences, prevention and intervention.
