Shammi Datta

Shammi Datta is a professor at the Education Department of the Okayama University of Science. Previously, he was the director of the IB teacher education program at the Tokyo Gakugei University, Graduate School for Teacher Education. He has also taught the IBDP and Japan’s national curriculum at the high school level for over 20 years. He has been involved with several IB related projects of the Ministry of Education, and has served as advisor for numerous boards of education, universities, and schools in Japan. He is also an IBDP workshop leader, and a board member of the Japan Association for Research into IB Education. He has written and presented widely, mostly in the Japanese language, on IB related issues at conferences and international education forums.
