Shahid Iqbal Rai

Shahid Iqbal Rai , an esteemed international scholar from Pakistan, is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Data Science at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, Italy, specializing in Natural Language Processing (NLP) with a keen focus on Large Language Models (LLM). Armed with a Master of Science in Computer Science, Shahid's prior research honed in on “English to Urdu: optimizing sequence learning in neural machine translation.” His academic journey features a significant role as a researcher at COMSATS University Islamabad, where his NLP contributions resulted in a published research article at an “IEEE” international conference. Since 2019, Shahid has been actively contributing to academia as a researcher and lecturer at The University of Lahore. His dedication to the realms of Artificial Intelligence and deep neural networks has positioned him as an innovator, leading to the development of groundbreaking techniques. Notably, he has mentored multiple students in the same domain, exemplifying his commitment to knowledge dissemination.
