Seema Goburdhun

Seema Goburdhun (PhD) is an Associate Professor in the Department of Social Studies at the Mauritius Institute of Education. She holds a PhD in History from Banaras Hindu University, India, and a Masters in Education from the University of Brighton, UK. She teaches History of Mauritius to pre-service and in-service teachers and has been involved in the production of innovative pedagogical resources to promote the learning of History in schools. She is also engaged in developing curriculum materials for both primary and secondary school learners. Her research interests include teaching and learning of History, Heritage Education, Teacher Education, Inclusive Education and Curriculum development.
