Sebahattin Emre Dilek

S. Emre Dilek is a PhD at the Dept of Gastronomy & Culinary Arts, Tourism and Hotel Management High School, Batman University, Batman, Turkey. He completed his master thesis titled “Green Marketing Applications in Tourism Businesses: A Field Research” in 2012. In this thesis, relationship between tourism and environment was questioned and the concept of green marketing, and green marketing related implementations in tourism were researched. In case of PhD thesis titled “Evaluation of Moral Responsibility of Tourism Regarding Animals in the Context of Meta-Criticism” which is completed in 2016. This study is to make critical analysis by introducing areas that animals are commodified in the tourism industry. He received the title of associate professor in 2021.The topics he is interested are Tourism Sociology, Tourism and Animal Ethics, Philosophy and Green Marketing.
