Satendra Kumar

Satendra Kumar works as a Professor & Head of the Department at the Department of Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry, College of Agriculture, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India. Dr. Satendra Kumar did his Graduation i.e. B.Sc. (Agriculture) and M.Sc. in Agriculture (Soil Science) from N.D. University of Agriculture & Technology, Kumarganj, Faizabad in 1989 and 1992, respectively, and Ph.D. (Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry from C.S. Azad University of Agriculture & Technology, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. Dr. Satendra Kumar has more than 30-year experience in teaching and research. He also participated in more than 50 national/international seminar symposia some of them as invited lead lecture, and chaired as President, Vice Chairman, and Co-convener of conferences and technical season. He has published more than 70 research papers in National/International journals, One Book, 10 Book chapters, one practical manual, more than 88 abstracts, and 18 popular articles. He has a life membership of the Indian Society of Soil Science and 10 other scientific and professional societies. He has the Outstanding Achievement Award-2018, ATDS-Fellow Award-2018, BRICPL Excellence Award in Teaching and Research-2017, Distinguished Scientist of the Year-2016, SAARS Excellence in Teaching Award-2015, 2nd position in Paper Presentation at the International Conference EIAEASSD-2018, Second prize in the All India Farmers fair and Agri Expo-2004, First prize in the “All India Farmers fair and Agri Expo-2007 at CSAUA&T, Kanpur. He is also supervised 17 M.Sc. (Agriculture) students and 6 Ph.D. students.
