Saravanan P. Veeramuthu is a Senior Lecturer in Malay Literature at the Literature Department, School of Humanities, Universiti Sains Malaysia, Penang, Malaysia. His research focuses on Modern Malay Literature, Environment and Literature, National Identity Studies in Malaysian Malay Literature with a special emphasis on non-Malay writers.
