Sarah N. Mitchell

Sarah N. Mitchell , Ph.D., CFLE, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Human Development, Family Science, and Counseling at the University of Nevada, Reno. Her research and courses taught focus on the experiences of minoritized individuals (e.g., LGBTQ+ and those with minoritized gender and racial/ethnic identities) – especially the impact of intersecting minoritized identities – within the context of family.
