Sanjoy Sadhukhan

Sanjoy Sadhukhan obtained a B.Sc. from the University of Calcutta, Kolkata, West Bengal; M.Sc. in Botany from Visva Bharati, Santiniketan, West Bengal; and PhD from the IIT, Kharagpur. He pursued Postdoctoral research at Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, USA and the University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, USA for 5 years and 9 months. Dr. Sadhukhan is currently working as an Assistant Professor, Department of Botany, Raiganj University, Raiganj -733134, West Bengal. He is actively involved in teaching both UG and PG levels as well as research activities. His areas of research interest are seed germination, seed priming, abiotic stress, etc. At present five research scholars are pursuing PhD under his guidance. Dr. Sadhukhan has published several research papers in various international peer-reviewed journals. He has authored numerous book chapters. He is the Life Member of The Indian Science Congress Association Membership No # L40200.
