Sandilyan Ramanujam Pagaldiviti

Sandilyan Pagaldiviti is a PhD in Tourism and Hospitality from IGNOU and earned his Masters in Tourism also from the same University. He has also completed M. Phil in Tourism Management from Madurai Kamaraj University. Dr. Sandilyan is a Tourism and Hospitality professional with over 25 years of experience. In 1995, he started his career with the Taj Group of Hotels as an operations management trainee. In his career he has worked with various prestigious organisation like P&O cruises, Jaypee Group of Hotels, as well as leading academic Institutions like IHM – Hyderabad, Bradford-Rex School of Hospitality & Management, Singapore etc. Having started as a Chef, Dr. Sandilyan is amongst a handful of chefs in the country to hold a PhD degree. Dr. Sandilyan has undergone several advanced learning programmes from Ecole Hoteliere, Lausanne and is also certified by EHL as a “Qualified Learning Facilitator”. Dr. Sandilyan has held various senior management positions like HOD for Hotel Management at KLEF – deemed to be University, Vice Principal at SRMIHM. In the industry he has been a General Manager for a QSR chain based at Bangalore as well as GM for SKHL.
