Samuel Omaji

Omaji Samuel received a B.Sc. degree in Statistics/Computer Science from the University of Agriculture Makurdi, Benue State, Nigeria in 2009, and an M.Sc. Degree in information security from COMSATS University, Islamabad, Islamabad, Pakistan, in 2015, and a PhD degree in Computer Science from same University in 2021. He received the NMC-CIIT master’s scholarship from 2013-to 2015 and CUI-TWAS postgraduate Fellowship from 2017-to 2020. He is an expert member of the Cyber Security Experts Association of Nigeria (CSEAN) and Ad-hoc reviewer in Frontier of Information Technology, International Conference, CUI, Islamabad, Pakistan, International Conference on Power, Energy and Smart Grid (ICPESG-2018) and a session chair 2020 IEEE International Conference on Communications (ICC), Dublin, Ireland. Furthermore, he is a reviewer of the Journal of Digital Forensics, Security and Law, Journal of Connection Science, Journal of Sustainable Energy Technologies and Assessments, Computer Networks, Computer Communications and IEEE Access. He is the former acting dean, of the Faculty of Computing and Informatics at Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara, Nigeria. Currently, he is head of computer science department, Edo State University, Uzairue, Nigeria. He has authored over 30 research articles in technical journals and international conferences. His research interests include data science, optimization, security and privacy, energy trading, blockchain, and smart grid.
