Samuel C. Bizley

Samuel Bizley is a Lecturer in Pharmacy in Reading School of Pharmacy at the University of Reading. A former pharmacy technician who worked within the NHS that has transitioned into academia with specialisms in pharmaceutics and pharmaceutical chemistry. Samuel is a module convenor of a second-year pharmaceutical chemistry module as well as being assessment lead for the Personal and Academic Development Portfolio, which introduces students to reflective practices and continuing professional development. Samuel is an experienced lecturer and academic tutor, teaching across pharmaceutical science, pharmacy practice and professional skills modules. Samuel’s pedagogic interests are in digital accessibility and digital literacy in higher education and student-staff partnerships in the design of assessments.
