Samrat Bhattacharjee

Samrat Bhattacharjee is an Associate Professor in the department of Zoology and Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) coordinator at Scottish Church College. He completed his doctoral work from University of Calcutta and is presently working as an ambassador of Service-Learning and Whole Person Education in his institution. His main focus is to work for the successful institutional implementation of Whole Person Education with a view to integrate the Head with the Heart and the Hand and thereby bringing classroom education to the benefit of the larger society with a touch of compassion. Dr Bhattacharjee has around 12 publications including book chapters and successfully completed various projects funded by University Grants Commission (UGC) and United Board for Christian Higher Education in Asia (UBCHEA). He is a United Board fellow and a government nominated mentor for about 24 colleges guiding them in their quality assessment for NAAC accreditation.
