Salini Devi Rajendran

Salini Devi Rajendran is currently a Senior Lecturer I at the School of Food Studies and Gastronomy, Faculty of Social Sciences and Leisure Management, Taylor’s University, Kuala Lumpur. Dr. Salini received her undergraduate degrees as well as her MSc degree from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), and her Ph.D. in Halal Product Management from Halal Products Research Institute, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). Dr. Salini was also awarded as a professional technologist by the Malaysia Board of Technologists (Ts) and a chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CMILT). She has teaching experience of more than 10 years in the areas of supply chain management and research projects. Most of her research explores food systems in the food industry from the perspectives of social sciences, covering food supply chain management, food sustainability, agrifood business, halal product management as well as technology usage in the food industry. She has various publications in her specialized areas and is presently workings on many more papers and projects. Dr. Salini also has secured research grants that were aimed at the national agenda. Her other affiliations include serving as both internal and external examiner for postgraduate examinations.
