Salanee Kandandapani

Salanee A/P Kandandapani was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She received her Diploma in Pharmacy (2009) and Bachelor’s in Biomedical Science (Hons) (2013) from University of Asian Metropolitan, Malaysia. Later, she completed her Master’s and PhD in Biological Sciences (Life Sciences) from University Malaya, Malaysia. She was fortunate enough to be selected for the University of Malaya Postgraduate Fellowship under University Malaya Financial Aid Program and the University of Malaya Postgraduate Research Fund. During this period, she published research papers in various ISI-indexed journals and presented the papers in national and international conferences. Her research interest lie in the area of Protein-Drug interaction. She has collaborated actively with researchers in several other disciplines of computer science, particularly on molecular docking. Currently she is working at School of Bioscience, MAHSA University as a Lecturer. In addition to being a passionate lecturer, recently she is also successfully collaborating with University Malaya on the MAHSA Industrial Training programme.
