Ruhi Lal

Ruhi Lal is Head (Student Support)/Associate Professor with Amity school Communication, Amity University, Noida. Dr. Lal is highly skilled Advertising professional, Academician, and Researcher. She is D.Litt. from Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribagh, Jharkhand state University and holds Ph.D. degree in Mass Communication. She is recipient of Best Media Educator of the year 2021 in advertising Research by Media Federation of India. Received 5th Gyan Shree National award for promoting talents in Hindi Literature from Savitri Foundations. She received VISHIST SEWA SAMMAN from BJP Delhi for delivering services to especially abled people in Dec 2021. She has 22 years of work experience blend of 8 years of Industry (H.T. Media Ltd, Purple Focus Pvt Ltd, Noida Ad Agency) 14 years of Teaching and Research experience at Amity School of Communication. Dr. Lal has 104 Research contributions – 8 Books, 32 research papers (4 - Scopus, 2-Web of Science, 15- UGC Care Listed Journals, 18 other journals of repute) National, International Journals with high Impact factors, 30 case studies, 29 paper presentations (IIT Kharagpur, IIM Indore, MICA, AMU, JNU, DU and many more), 10 (chapters in books). The six funded Projects done by her are – MGNCRE-MHRD, SWAYAM -MHRD, AJK-MCRC -MHRD, Radio Amity, Amity MOOC Project. Dr. Lal chaired many technical sessions on National International conferences. She conducted workshops on ‘Advertising Research methods’, ‘Qualitative research methods’, ‘Campaign planning’, ‘Storytelling’ in Advertising. She served as IQAC head, Stream head for ‘Advertising & Marketing Communication’, Board of studies, AAB & PRC committee member, Academic advisory board, Outcome assessment head, Academic Planning and review committee member, external examiner, paper setter and guest speakers for many Universities. She chaired more than 50 admission boards for the selection of students.
