Rounaq Basu

Rounaq BasuMr. Rounaq Basu is pursuing his Master of Science in Transportation degree at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and is currently a Research Assistant at the Intelligent Transportation Systems Laboratory at MIT. He works in the area of urban and transportation planning, focusing on smart mobility and associated policy implications for an integrated urban transportation system. His research interests also include web-based survey design techniques and policy issues regarding public health and travel behavior. Mr. Basu holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay. He has also worked as a Research Assistant at the Centre for Urban Science and Engineering, IIT Bombay. He holds active international collaborations with the DeGroote School of Business, McMaster University, Canada and the Research Centre for Integrated Transport Innovation (rCITI), University of New South Wales, Australia.
