Rosy Jan

Mrs Rosy Jan is Senior Assistant Professor in the Department of Library and Information Science, University of Kashmir, India. She has Masters in Library and Information Science and PG Diploma in Library Automation and Networking. Her research interests include Scientometrics, Information Seeking Behaviour, Open Access and Predatory Publishing. She has published in many national and international journals. She has attended and presented papers in many National and International Seminars including ICDL 2010, ICLAM-2014, ETTLIS 2015, COLLNET 2015, etc. She bagged first position in Best Poster Award category ICDL 2010 for her poster presentation "Harvesting Capabilities of Google Scholar: A Comparative Study of three Major Journal Lists-DOAJ, Highwire and Biomedcentral". She is Academic Counsellor has also served as Nodal officer of “Internal Quality Assurance Cell “of her affiliated institution.
