Renuka Devi D.

Renuka Devi D currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Stella Maris College(Autonomous) in Chennai, India. With over 15 years of extensive teaching experience, she holds a Ph.D. from the University of Madras. Her academic expertise spans areas such as Data Mining, Machine Learning, Big Data, and Artificial Intelligence. She has authored a book titled “Research Practitioner’s Handbook on Big Data Analytics,” published by Apple Academic Press, CRC Press, USA, and has contributed articles to various publications, including IEEE, Springer, Scopus, and Web of Science. In addition, she holds patents in the fields of virtual network security, sentiment analysis application using an ensemble incremental deep multiple layer perceptron model, a smart walking stick for the visually impaired, and an AI-based interactive web and voice application. She presented papers at international conferences, earning accolades such as the Best Paper Award and the Best Researcher Award. She is associated with various international societies, including the International Computer Science and Engineering Society (ICSES) and the International Association of Engineers (IAENG). Additionally, Dr. Renuka Devi serves as a reviewer for prestigious Scopus indexed and web of science journals. She is also an editorial member of the Journal of Advances in Management Sciences & Information Systems and has represented India as a panelist in the “Global Perspectives on Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education - A virtual roundtable on AI” in 2023 organized by Alamo Colleges District, San Antonio, USA.
