Rehan Muzamil Butt is currently faculty member at IoBM, entrepreneurship department. Has submitted PhD thesis to International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) on the topic of “Islamic Consumer Behavior”. Did his first Masters from University of Wales, U.K. in |”Management in Developing Countries” and “Japanese Management System”. Second Masters in marketing. Over 15 years of business experience in Marketing and distribution of FMCG, B to B (agents for Olympus Endoscopes Division & Tekno Medical, Germany), Raw material supplies to fan industry (Pak Fan, Royal, GFC, etc.), several CSR projects, and research paper presentations in National and International research journals and conferences. 15 years industry and more than 12 years teaching experience in several reputable universities such as PAF-KIET, IQRA, Ilma, MAJU. Former Head of Entrepreneurship Department at IoBM. Advisor several incubation centers, such as ICCBS-HEJ Karachi University, PAF-KIET, SMIU, IoBM. Reviewer for several research journals such as PBR, AJSS, IJBMS, JBE, JGSS, SEBRI, JISR, KJB. Certified Halal Lead Auditor. Received training in medical sales supply from Germany. Conducted several corporate training for institutes such as AKUH, TCF, CPCIH, Sindh Police, Ministry of Planning Development and Reform, Centre for Excellence (CPEC), FPCCI, SMIIC, HARC, IIUM Malaysia etc. Facilitator and mentor to more than 700 students in business startups and more than 600 students in socially sustainable projects. Jury member and mentor at several competitions for startups such as, Shell Pakistan, Iqra University. Special interests, Business Ethics, Islamic Marketing & Islamic Supply Chain.
