Ravi Sekhar

Ravi Sekhar was born in New Delhi, India in 1983. He received B.Tech. in Production Engineering (2006) and M.Tech. in CAD CAM (2012) from Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Pune, Maharashtra, India. He received Ph.D. degree from Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Pune, India in 2021. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Pune. His area of research is metal matrix composites, bolted joint design, system identification and control of mechanical systems. He has more than 13 years of industry and academic experience. He has published more than 50 research papers in reputed journals such as Journal of Materials Research & Technology, Particulate Science and Technology, Engineering Letters and more. He reviews articles for Silicon, Archives of Civil and Mechanical Engineering, Journal of Mechanical Science and Technology, Journal of Materials Research and Technology and IEEE Access. He is also an editorial member of International Journal of Robotics and Control Systems.
