Rachel Louise Geesa

Rachel Louise Geesa , Ed.D., is an associate clinical professor and assistant chair in Ball State University’s Department of Educational Leadership, Teachers College, and the college’s Director of International Programs within the Dean’s Office. With over 15 years of experience in education, Dr. Geesa has PK-12 teaching and leading experience in Indiana-based schools and throughout U.S. Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) schools in South Korea, Japan, Germany, and the United States. Dr. Geesa’s research interests focus on professional development and support structures for pre-service and in-service educational leaders as they relate to ways to better meet the social, emotional, mental health, academic, and post-secondary needs of PK-12 learners and educators.
