R. Vijaya

Vijaya R specializes in industrial and organizational Psychology, currently working as Assistant Professor at CHRIST (Deemed to be University). She has worked as Human Resource Professional for eight years; as part of her Ph.D. work, she researched Downsizing employees. She has authored a few articles and book chapters on Organizational behavior and continues her research in the area of downsizing organization, retrenched employees, entrepreneurship, leadership, and management. She has presented her research papers at various international and national conferences. She has conducted multiple workshops, lectures, and training programmes in schools, colleges, corporates, and need-based for some Government organizations. She is actively engaged in various research projects in the field of Human resources, specifically on employee retention and wellbeing. She passionately integrates academics and the corporate world by adding research components with the firm belief that collaboration is essential for the growth and sustenance of today’s organization.
