R. Vijaya

Vijaya R. is currently working as Assistant Professor in CHRIST (Deemed to be University). She has worked as a Human Resource Professional for eight years, as part of her Ph.D. work she researched the topic on Downsizing employees. She has authored a few articles and book chapters on Organizational behaviour and continues her research work in the area of downsizing organizations, retrenched employees, entrepreneurship, leadership and management. She has presented her research papers at various international and national conferences. She has conducted various workshops, lectures and training programmes in schools, colleges and on a need-base for some Government organizations. She is actively engaged in various research projects in the field of Human Resource, specifically on employee retention and well-being. She passionately integrates the academics and the corporate world adding research components with the strong belief that collaboration is essential for the growth and sustenance of today’s organization. She is a certified Lean six sigma green belt, Lumina Spark Practitioner, and Lean expert. Her clientele includes the Luxury Segment sector, Manufacturing industry, hospitality sector and education sector. Some of her projects include Leadership, Organisational change, Employee involvement, and Personality development.
