Praveen Srivastava

Praveen Srivastava is an Experienced Academician with a demonstrated history of working in the education management industry for more than 20 years. Skilled in Tourism, Hospitality, MOOC Courses, Customer Relationship Management, ICT, Training and Marketing Research. He has authored two books and several journal articles. Strong educational professional degree from IHM Bhopal and Ph.D. from Ranchi University. He is also a certified instructor for “Managing Front Office Operation” and “Leadership and Management in the Hospitality Industry” by American Hotel and Lodging Association (AH&LA), USA, Michigan, and recipient of “Award of Excellence” by IIT Mumbai for being amongst the top performer of the Faculty Development Program on “Use of ICT in Education for Online and Blended learning “.in 2016. In the year 2018, IIT Mumbai awarded him with the Top Performer badge again in two-week Faculty Development Program (FDP 301X) on “Mentoring Educators in Educational Technology”. He was also selected as a Mentor in the AICTE approved Two Faculty Development Program (FDP101x and FDP201x) on Pedagogy for Online and Blended Teaching-Learning Process conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mumbai from August 3, 2017, to September 7, 2017, and from September 14, 2017, to October 12, 2017, respectively. He is currently serving as Associate Dean of Student Affairs at BIT Mesra and Editor-In-Chief for the journal JOHAR, which is indexed in ABDC Journal Quality List, and he is associated with Department of Hotel Management and Catering Technology as an Assistant Professor
