G Prasad is currently working as faculty in the department of Aerospace Engineering Chandigarh University, India. He has 9 years of experience in Teaching and research. He received his Bachelor of Engineering and Master of Engineering degrees with first class and distinction and Doctor of Philosophy in the field of Aeronautical Engineering from the Anna University, Chennai, India. Prof. Prasad G is the author of over 30 technical publications, 1 Patent Published and 1 Book published. His research interests include Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, Aircraft Structures, Computational Fluid Dynamics and Interdisciplinary research. He has completed three funded project sponsored by The Institution of Engineers (India) and Tamilnadu State Council for Science and Technology. Awarded Indian National Science Academy (INSA) Visiting Scientist Programme 2019 and Awarded Science Academies' Summer Research Fellowship Programme (SRPF) 2019. Further he is SPOC of NPTEL- IIT Madras, SPOC of ISRO IIRS outreach coordinator and SPOC for NASA International SpaceApps Challenge. Further key positions such as coordinator of Board of Studies, Outcome Based Education, Project Coordinator, Research Coordinator NBA, NAAC, ABET. He is a Professional Membership of American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Institution of Engineers, Life Member in Indian Cryogenic Council and Life Member in Shock Wave Society. Reviewer in Aircraft Engineering and Aerospace Technology, International Journal of Engine Research and Journal of Institution of Engineers (India): Series C.
