Prabha Kiran Head of the Department, Management and Marketing, School of Business Economics, Westminster Business School, Westminster International University in Tashkent. Prabha Kiran in past has worked as Assistant Professor at School of Business and Management, CHRIST Deemed to be University, Bangalore. She is an academician by choice and researcher by heart. She has completed her Bachelor of Engineering specializing in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (MVJCE-VTU Bangalore, India, MBA in Marketing in Systems from CBSMS- Bangalore University, India. She has a PhD in Digital Marketing, from Vels University, Chennai, India. She has eight years of research experience and has worked extensively on Government funded projects in the area of Digital Marketing and Food technology. She has been a coordinator- PhD program, Research Writing, Publication Ethics, Section Editor: USHUS Business Management Journal, University Journal, School of Business and Management, Christ University. She has published more than 40 research papers in International Refereed Journals and 12 Scopus indexed journals. She has presented more than 70 research papers in International and National conferences across India as well as in other countries. Her research papers have been awarded with best papers for her research on twitter analytics and information credibility analysis of social media content. She has been conferred with “Young Scientist Award”,2017 by leading publication house in Chennai, and “Best Professor in Market Research”,2018 by a leading B-School in Hyderabad. She is certified trainer and google digital marketing expert, delivering consulting and training services to MSME, startups and mid-level organizational managers. The certification provided by the organisation is accredited by ASCB (US), valid across more than 70 countries. As a consultant she can handle Digital Marketing consulting specialising in image building and branding of products and services. She basically works towards improving the brand image or public image of products or services by good public relations, advertising, in the digital platform. My favorite piece of advice to any entrepreneur is to build a brand, not just a business. Following are the aspects of the consulting solutions that are undertaken: 1. Public Opinion Research: It is to ascertain what people think about the brand, its management, services, etc. Essentially, understand the attitude of the public towards the organisation. 2. Image Study: Understand how and what is the organisation known for; analysing brand’s reputation. 3. Motivation Research: It is to ascertain why the public carries a positive or negative attitude towards the organisation – the root cause(s) – and also the underlying emotional factor.
