Pooja Raju

Pooja Raju is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in the Department of Psychology at CHRIST (Deemed to be University) in Bangalore, India. She holds a Master of Science degree in Counselling Psychology and has worked as a teaching faculty for three years. Her interest areas are counseling psychology, social psychology, and cultural psychology, and she takes opportunities to read more and contribute to literature in these areas. She has qualified the NET (National Eligibility Test) for the Assistant Professor Position by UGC (University Grants Commission), India in 2018. Her notable publication in recent times is titled ‘Perfectionism and Self-Compassion among Emerging Adults: The Role of Disciplining Experiences’ published by Springer Nature in April 2023. She strives to continuously upskill herself, having participated in a recent training course on ‘Psychological First Aid’ at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Spain.
