Pooja Chakraborty

Pooja Chakraborty is a Forensic Odontologist by profession. Currently, she is employed as an Asst Prof and Head of the Dept of Forensic Science and Criminology, in the AFC Group of Institutions, India. She is also deputed as a guest lecturer in leading law institutes in India. She completed her bachelor's of dental surgery in 2018 with outstanding marks. On her quest to do something different, she went on to pursue her master's in Forensic Odontology thereafter. To her credit, she has International and national Paper and Poster Presentations and also bagged a few awards for the same. She is trained in performing dental autopsies. She has a keen interest in forensic archaeology and forensic facial reconstruction. She is actively involved in the field of forensics and has addressed various talks for graduates, postgraduates as well as security professionals. She has been invited as a speaker on various platforms. She is actively involved with International agencies dealing with DVI Operations. She has also been honored with Membership in the Institute of Disaster Management and Safety Science, Nigeria.
