Petri Nokelainen

Petri Nokelainen is a Full Professor (Engineering Pedagogy) in the Tampere University, Finland. He is the leader of the Professional Growth and Learning research group. His research interests include engineering higher education (regulation of learning and active learning methods), professional growth (workplace learning and mentoring), development of professional and vocational excellence (self-regulation, competence), technology enhanced learning (pedagogical usability, pedagogical design and scripting, learning analytics), and applied multivariate and Bayesian methods (hybrid modeling, psychometrics). He is the Chief Editor of Journal of Vocational and Professional Education, Board Member of VETNET (European Educational Research Association) and Finnish Vocational Research Association (OTTU), and Editorial Board Member of five scientific journals (incl. Vocations and Learning).
